With the right care and manure you can ensure that your lawn stays green and full all summer. Here’s how to take care of your lawn in the best way.
Keep the lawn green and healthy with fertiliser
To get the lawn really green and healthy you should fertilise a couple of times per season, we have different fertiliser products that suit your lawn. Take care to fertilize before watering, or rather when you wait for rain.
Watering lawn
Water your lawn a lot but be sure to water evenly so that the area does not “water”. Water in the morning or in the evening, otherwise you risk that much of the water evaporates when the temperature is higher in the middle of the day.
If you have a lawn that has been established for a long time then it is important to water so much that the water reaches the root system. Because it requires that you water a lot at the same time, preferably 25-30 mm during dry periods. Rather, water a lot at once, than a little many times.

Cutting
When the grass has become 7-8 cm high it is time to cut. 4-5 cm should be left when you have finished cutting. Make sure the mower has sharp knives. A cutting height of 1-1.5 cm is recommended. Rather cut often and a little than infrequently and much.
Hole and wound in the lawn
If the lawn has got less wounds or holes, it can be repaired. Cover with a 2-3 cm thick layer of sand or top dress and sprinkle over a little fertilizer before the area is rolled. Finally, you sprinkle on grass seeds. Protect the area from entering or being burdened in any other way until the new grass is in good growth.
Moss in the lawn
Moss in the lawn may be due to several reasons: lime-poor soil, dense soil, poor nutrient availability or that you have set the mower too low. Try to set the lawn mower to 4-5 cm and increase the amount of fertiliser.
If you want to get rid of the moss once it has established itself in the lawn, you must remove it with hard-knit raking or by using moss-drier while at the same time you over-fertilize the lawn frequently but weakly, and also cuts frequently.
